This presentation was showcased at the SAGEN Launch Event held in Pretoria on the 8th April 2022. The event gave various partners of the GIZ Energy Cluster in South Africa and stakeholders from the South African energy sector an insight into the current activities of GIZ’s energy projects and will particularly focus on the objectives and focal areas of the South-African - German Energy Programme (SAGEN). At the start of the fourth phase of the programme, we engaged on the current opportunities and challenges of the South African energy sector and on our past joint achievements in the framework of SAGEN.
